| Nicole deBoer joined the cast of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine during its final season, and she quickly became my favorite female Star Trek character of all time. Here's a character who's tough and intelligent, yet cute and feminine... and it doesn't hurt that Ms. deBoer brought a certain innocence to the role that helped make Ezri winsome and appealing. I'll say more about that later. I caught a few of Ms. deBoer's other appearances. None of them really left much of an impact though, except for her roles in TV's The Dead Zone and the independent film Cube. Her role in The Dead Zone was by far more interesting and engaging, and so I'll say a little bit about that today. |
